Indian women are possessive for their family and home. They are not comfortable delegating few of their responsibilities and few of their tasks to others. This sometimes becomes the reason for professionally qualified women, not able to restart their career after child birth.
Whenever I speak to professionally successful women regarding tips for able to keep good balance in their personal and professional life, they always talk about art of Delegation.
They advise to focus on strategic aspects at home while developing a support system for execution at home. Mrs.Indra Nooyi has always given stress on developing support system to manage home and kids. She even advises to come out of guilt of being not able to do everything on our own.
My beautiful friends; we need to make choices for our life’s. We can either be a working women or a home maker or a 24/7 mother. We need to develop a support system for the task we can delegate. So try to develop support system, by training your house helps, driver, nanny, etc. Take help from friends and relatives. Train your family member to be independent.
Take for example the game of cricket. You cannot play it alone. You cannot be a bowler, batsman, wicketkeeper and fielder at the same time. The captain drives the match by delegating bowling, bating, fielding and wicket keeping and achieves the target in the form of a good score with everyone’s support.
A good post on this topic is rarely seen, few want to dig so deep, I liked your opinion
